In case you missed out on the annual cycling team membership drive last Fall, Avanti Racing (Blue Rooster / Sports Medicine Clinic) has opened up its roster to new members on both the men’s and women’s squads.
One of the only multi-disciplinary teams in Seattle, Avanti Racing has been active in the Northwest peloton since 1988, competing in road, track, mountain and cyclocross events. They focus on racing and providing the training and support necessary to compete effectively while maintaining balance in busy lives. They have excellent and supportive sponsors, and host one of Washington’s largest stage races, the Mutual of Enumclaw Stage Race on May 22 – 23.
Although they have several competitive team members, most members primarily race to have fun. A new team kit (uniform) order is being placed soon and is expected to arrive in time for cyclocross season in September.
