The Thursday night race series at Seward Park has been running since 1990 and is a part of the weekly training routine for many Seattle cyclists. The Seward Series is a great way to train for bigger races or events. Many folks ride to Seward Park–race–then ride home, which adds up to a perfect training ride. The Seward Series is also a way for those with weekend family obligations to race on a week night.
