Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships Needs Volunteers

October 17, 2010 by David Longdon Leave a Comment

The Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships (SSCXWC) hits the mud next weekend-October 23 and 24. Racers from all over the world will be competing to take home the title of World Champion and Seattle (Kent, really) will be home to this “Battle Royale” of single speed cross cultists.

If you don’t plan to race, here is a great opportunity to support an amazing event full of fun times, beer, and bikes.

Volunteer needs:

Friday October 22:
4-5 people at Hooverville to help with registration.

Saturday October 23:
20-30 people to help all day long including at checkpoints for the qualifier as well folks to help out with the second qualifier that evening.

Sunday October 24:
15 people to help out at the race

Volunteers get swag: Sweet goodies–some to wear, some to drink…as well as the eternal thanks of the race organizers and the knowledge that you you’ll be taking part in the biggest and baddest single speed cross race in the world!
