1st Annual WA High School Cycling League Leaders’ Summit

The WA Leaders’ Summit is intended for everyoneinterested in becoming part of the Washington High School Cycling League.

This event is intended to help folks interested in the League to develop skills and knowledge, share strategies, and build community. This conference will promote a holistic approach to coaching that creates an environment in which young people can grow and thrive. This is a great opportunity to spend a weekend in the company of peers and energize for the upcoming season. The event will include special guest Matt Fritzinger, founder of the NorCal League and the National Interscholastic Cycling Association.

Who should attend the Summit:

Anyone interested in becoming:
– a coach
– an assistant coach
– a ride leader
– parent volunteer

This is your opportunity to:
– Learn all about the Washington League
– Learn how to start a mountain bike team
– Learn how to work with your school
– Issues related to liability
– Learn the intricacies of working with high school cyclists

Leaders’ Summit attendance entitles you to a discount on team registration and counts as 9 hours of Professional Development Hours for those working towards NICA Licenses.
