Description
Each loop has a mixture of pavement, single track trail, and wider double track or dirt road. Most of the time the tread is smooth, the grade gradual with a few rocky stretches. Runners will be in the forest most of the time but on a clear day there are spectacular views of Mt Adams, Mt Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. The 50K has approximately 7500 ft climbing and the 25K has around 3750 feet, making these races beautiful but challenging. The 25K is a loop course with a short out and back section. The 50K does two loops of the 25K course.
