Bellingham Bay Marathon | Half Marathon

An event every year that begins at 6:30 am on day last of September, repeating until September 28, 2025
Featuring views of Bellingham Bay, San Juan Islands, and North Cascades mountains, the Bellingham Bay Marathon and Half Marathon are considered one of the most beautiful road races in the Pacific Northwest.
Half Marathon
–Beautiful course with convenient start and finish in downtown Bellingham
–Tech shirt included with registration, finishers receive a commemorative medal
–Cash prizes for Top 3 M/F
–Covered waiting areas at Depot Market Square near start line
–Pacing available for various finish times – please see our Pace Groups page for details
–Mostly road, with stretches of urban trail
Race Times/Locations
Start time: 9:00 am.
Start/finish location: Railroad Ave in front of Depot Market Square (1100 Railroad, 98225)
Half Marathon
–Beautiful point-to-point course starting on Lummi Nation and finishing in downtown Bellingham
–Tech shirt/Finisher’s Jacket included with registration, finishers receive a commemorative medal
–Cash prizes for Top 3 M/F
–Free shuttle bus transportation (for participants only) from finish area to start area
–Pacing available for various finish times – see our Pace Groups page for details
–Mostly road, with stretches of urban trail; some hills
Race Times/Locations
Start times:
Walkers: 6:45 AM
Runners: 7:30 AM
Finish line close time (all races): 2:00 pm
Start location: entrance driveway to Lummi Nation School (2334 Lummi View Dr, 98226)
Finish location: Railroad Ave in front of Depot Market Square (1100 Railroad, 98225)
