Cross Revolution 2019 # 4: Frontier Park
October 27 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm PDT
Racing age in cyclocross is a racer’s age in the calendar year that the cyclocross season ends (not just when the Cross Revolution race series ends). The current, official, cyclocross season starts on September 1, 2019 and ends on February 28, 2020. So, the governing organization of bicycle racing (the UCI) considers your CX racing age to be your age at the end of calendar year 2020.
This is the age category that you will race if you participate in the National Championships. To calculate your racing age, subtract the year that you were born in from 2020. For example, a junior racer born in 2005 has a racing age of 15 (2020-2005=15). You may go back into BikeReg.com and change your category if you signed up for the wrong age group.
Special note for juniors: Our race series allows juniors to race in the age category that best fits their abilities so that the race is a good opportunity for them to develop their racing skills with other juniors of similar strength.
Racing twice: If you want to race twice on any race day, you have a choice: 1) purchase a second season pass for $75; or just sign up in person at the registration table and tell them that you have a season pass, and your second race that day is $15. Juniors who want to race both a junior race and an adult race: sign up for the adult race in person to get the $15 entry!
