An event every year that begins at 8:00 am on day first of June, repeating until June 1, 2025
Nestled in the breathtaking North Cascades, the course runs through the old-growth forest of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, along the White Chuck River.
GLACIER PEAK INSTITUTE 12K
Races will be point to point, with parking near the lower trailhead at the White Chuck Boat Launch. Runners will be shuttled to the upper trailhead and will run back down to their cars.
WHY THIS RACE IS UNIQUE
We have often seen guides and organizations from outside of our community come and recreate then leave. All the economic benefits go to those outside our community. The purpose of this race is to
1) fundraise for GPI, who continuously works to make the outdoors more accessible for rural, marginalized youth and;
2) to have a recreational event that originates within and for our rural community. We welcome you to partake in supporting our community.
*contingent on permit approval
