  • Seattle Running Club 5-mile Run in Columbia City »

Nestled in the breathtaking North Cascades, the course runs through the old-growth forest of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, along the White Chuck River.

GLACIER PEAK INSTITUTE HALF-MARATHON

The race will be a loop, starting at White Chuck Boat Launch parking lot, then up along Forest Service Road 22, and back, along the White Chuck Bench Trail back down to the start. This event is contingent on interest, so please register if you would like to participate. The final decision will be made in June.

WHY THIS RACE IS UNIQUE

We have often seen guides and organizations from outside of our community come and recreate then leave. All the economic benefits go to those outside our community. The purpose of this race is to

1) fundraise for GPI, who continuously works to make the outdoors more accessible for rural, marginalized youth and;

2) to have a recreational event that originates within and for our rural community. We welcome you to partake in supporting our community.

*contingent on permit approval
