GOAT Run Half Marathon | Marathon | 50K
September 14, 2024 @ 6:00 am - 5:00 pm PDT
An event every year that begins at 6:00 am on day second of September, repeating until September 13, 2025
Great Olympic Adventure Trail (GOAT) Run is a point-to-point half marathon, marathon, and 50K trail race that traverses Kelly Ridge between the Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Participants finish at pristine Lake Crescent inside Olympic National Park.
GOAT Run is for trail runners who enjoy lush green forests filled with moss and ferns, towering evergreens, and trailside flowers. Running by the “Living Room” will give participants a stunning view of the Elwha River Valley. And if this wasn’t epic enough, get ready to eat, drink, and lounge lakeside on the shores of pristine Lake Crescent inside Olympic National Park.
Log Cabin Resort is the venue for food, drinks, and stunning views. Pro tip: Book a room or cabin and you will end your race right at your room!
This race is a friendly, community-based event, and a portion of race proceeds are donated to the Peninsula Trails Coalition and the Peninsula Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of Washington, in appreciation for their countless hours of trail construction and maintenance on the North Olympic Peninsula.
**Food and beer provided according to guidelines in place on race day.
