HO HO 5K Run and Walk

HOLIDAY TREATS:
Hostess HO-HO’s & Sno-Balls! -They will be there in full force!
Remember those pink coconut and marshmallow treats that looked good — but no one would eat em’.

Participants also will enjoy many perks!
A Tree: All finishers get an evergreen seedling!
Hot drinks: Finishers will warm-up to some very outstanding holiday cider
Random Prizes: All participants and volunteers will be eligible to win some great holiday prizes and some crappy ones.

SANTA VISITS!
We will have a special appearance by none other than… Santa! He will have candy canes for the kids, and the adults too! His bag is often full of prizes!

THE COURSE:
The course leaves the park and travels through some quiet neighborhood streets. At just over a mile, runners will take a bike path that follows the Tualatin River back to Cook Park. The course then travels throughout the park on mainly wood chip and paved paths. The course is a beauty!

WALK:
Walkers will follow the same course and will receive trees as well.

AWARDS:
Everyone wins a tree! The top three overall male and female and top masters will receive a special holiday XD award. Everyone will be eligible to win random prizes.

LOCATION:
The FUN RUN (fun – but timed!) will start and finish at Cook Park in Tigard. The park is located just behind Tigard High School.

Registration and other hoopla will be taking place at picnic area number two. So if it rains — or SNOWS — there is shelter, and there will be other fixins’ to warm you.
