Honeywagon Runs Half Marathon | 4Mi | Kids

The annual Honeywagon Runs, which started in 1982, got its name from the manure wagons (Honeywagons) which spread cow manure on the fields along the roads the event currently runs on. The events begin and end at the Nooksack Valley Middle School in Everson, Washington. The runs are mostly on flat low traveled scenic country roads which are NOT closed to traffic.

Covid Protocols

When you pick up your bib, all runners 12 and over will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the runs.

Masks are required at the start and finish of the runs.

At the time of the event, GBRC will follow all CDC and DOH guidelines. If GBRC needs to adjust our policies, participants will be expected to adjust with us. Flexibility is key! Thanks in advance for your cooperation!

4 Mile Run
Start in the Parking Lot of Nooksack Valley Middle School – Left on Main St. – Left on W. 2nd. St.- Right on W. Madison St. Left on W. 1st. St.- Right on W. Lincoln St. – Left on Nooksack Ave. – Left on Tom Rd. – Left on VanBuren – Left on Evergreen Wy. – Right on Shuksan St. – Left on Main – Left into School Parking Lot to the Finish

Half Marathon
Start in the Parking Lot of Nooksack Valley Middle School- Left on Main St.- Left on W. 2nd. St.- Right on W. Madison – St.- Left on 1st. St.- Right on W. Lincoln St.- Left on Nooksack Ave. – Left on Tom Rd. – Right on VanBuren – Left on Hampton Rd. – Left on Trapline Rd.- Right on Stikney Island Rd. – Left on Timon Rd. heading West – U Turn at 7.6 mile point to head back East on Timon Rd.- Left on Trapline Rd. – Right on Hampton Rd. – Right on VanBuren – Left on Evergreen Wy. – Right on Shuksan – Left on Main – Left into School Parking Lot to Finish.

Kids Fun Run (7 and under)
Will take place in the field behind Nooksack Middle School. will be the sponsor of this fun event for the kids.

Start Times

The following start times are subject to change if the CDC requires wave starts at the time of the event.

Half Marathon Early Starters: Start at 8:00am. Walkers please note the last aid station closes down at 11:30am. with the Finish Line closing down at Noon.

Half Marathon Runners: Start at 9:00am

4 Mile Runners: Start at 10am

Kid’s Fun Run: Starts at 9:15am

RUNNERS are advised that all aid stations close down at 11:30am. and Finish Line timing will close at Noon.
