The Lake Union 10K is a 6.21-mile, timed race along the Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop Trail. It crosses over bridges and touches the communities of Queen Anne, Fremont, Wallingford, Eastlake, and South Lake Union. Our event starts and finishes at Lake Union Park.
Post-Race Expo details: The Expo is located near the race finish line in Lake Union Park. 1700 participants along with plenty of race volunteers, family and friends will enjoy a Portage Bay Café breakfast, our 10K awards ceremony, and post-race vendor booths.
The six-mile trail around Lake Union is named “Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop” in honor of a late 1800s Duwamish chief. His name, Cheshiahud, is pronounced [CHES-ee-uh-hood]. Read more about this important Seattle figure here.
