Loup Loup Rando Race

February 2

The Loup Loup Rando Race features a narrow, steep climb up a forested slope before topping out at the summit of the Loup, nearly 1300′ higher. Rip your skins and carve your way down Ridge Run to the Start/Finish/Lap zone, and head back up again (and again) if you so desire. New this year, join the 10,000ft club and do 8 laps (~1300ft/lap) so your overall vert is over 10,000ft, or form a team of friends and do the relay option.

Awards will be given for our top finishers in each category and distance. All racers will be entered into a raffle for equipment from our sponsors.

This is your Herd. We are a proud group of racers that challenge ourselves in the steeped history of skiing. Our race series is built on our community that ranges from first time racers to life long pros. You’ll find yourself at home.

We are excited to present a ski mountaineering race series that includes current races and new. Our series is focused on building community, incredible venues, and just good ol’ fashioned fun.

Our courses involve challenging climbs with breathtaking descents. The venues are some of the most stunning ski locales in the Cascades.

Take the podium with a win or meet a new touring buddy. All are welcome to the Snow Goat Skimo Series.

Volunteers are what make these races possible! As the racers garner all the glory as they speed on through the finish, the volunteers are really the true heroes of the event. But, the well kept secret is that volunteering can really be as much fun, if not more, than racing! These races are all about community, and volunteering is a way to give to that community. Plus, volunteering will earn you a discounted race entry to the series in the future! Some races might even offer a free lift ticket for the day, or some sweet schwag. It’s also a great way to learn about the sport and see a different side of the races. If you have a partner racing, are injured, or just want a chill day, volunteering keeps you in the excitement of the event.

Typically, we need help with:
-Course setting (evening prior)
-Registration/bib pickup
-Course Marshalling
-Post race festivities
-Headquarters Management
