SCHEDULE
SCHEDULE ESTIMATED AND CAN VARY DEPENDING ON EVENTS

SATURDAY:
8:30 AM: Registration and check-in opens.

9:30 – SUP OPEN 5-MILE STROKE – MEN/WOMEN. (Boards 14′ and under)

11:15 – PINE HOLLOW PADDLE (3-MILE OPEN): SUP, KAYAK, RAFT, any human powered float. No OAR LOCKS. Multiple Divisions.

12:00 – GROMS SUP (3/4 Mile – Age 14 & Under) No board restrictions.

1:00 – THE SUP CHASE. 3-MILE. Boards 12’6 and under. Women start 2:09 in front of men. 1st 10 to cross finsih line win Ca$h and Prizes. ** Men/Women who want to use 14′ boards start 1:00 after appropriate heat.

2:00 – iSUP 3 MILE Inflatable boards only – Any length!

3:00 – MONSTER CHALLENGE. Get out the BIG BOARDS! 1.5 Mile challlenge. 4-person per board minimum, and up to 10 on a single board! Winning team gets a MONSTER trophy and we donate $100 to Maupin schools athletics on their behalf!

4:00 – PADDLE PARADE – ALL PARTICIPANTS and Spectators ALL DAY! (.5 MILE) Let us all get wet together!

4:30 – Awards and FOOD AND WIDMER BEER AND OTHER BEVERAGES

8:00 – Karaoke at Lucky’s Lakeside

** Times are approximate and and after the first heat, heats may run early as schedule allows, so be prepared. YOU MAY ENTER MORE THAN ONE EVENT. SIgn up for event is a flat fee, and then add events at +$5.

THE CAMPGROUND IS NEXT TO THE START… and so is the BAR AND RESTAURANT! AND cabins… and we’ll have fun going all day long! Campfire and keg and more. Great place for the kids too!

** ALERT: You can rent paddle boards from the marina! But you better make reservations. Want a solo inflatable kayak or other vessel? We can provide one from a local raft company for a fee! Email us for info! There are even Stand Up boards available with your race sign up!

EVENT GENERAL:
The start and finish are located in Pine Hollow Lakeside Resort, just next to Angler’s Restaurant and Bar. There is camping at the start and finish. Check with Pine Hollow Lakeside Resort for details. Registration and check-in will be on the water next to the restaurant/docks.

PADDLE CONTESTS:
All the events are completed in Pine Hollow Reservoir. The courses will be marked with large buoys. There will be safety vessels monitoring the event. ALL FINISHERS WILL RECEIVE A SPECIAL “FINISHERS AWARD” and be treated to some fine grub and suds.

SUP OPEN STROKE – 5-MILES
Men and women will compete together in this event but the overall winners will receive special prizes. Including a CA$H purse. Details and overall amounts will be updated as the events draws closer. Boards can be up to 14′.

PINE HOLLOW PADDLE (eg kayak, canoe, raft or SUP!) – 3 MILES
You can be creative — we encourage it. This is a human race.
Rules: All vessels must be human powered. There will be two divisions, SOLO and MULTI. The SOLO division means one person one vessel. The MULTI division means one vessel, and more than one human. ONLY RESTRICTION: NO OAR LOCKS.
** Two distinct divisions: INFLATABLE and RIGID. Both for SOLO and MULTI. We will determine your division at race check-in.

GROMS – STAND UP PADDLE KIDS DIVISION -3/4 MILE
14 & Under Kids gig. The event is 3/4 of a mile total (out and back course). The event is designed for those 14 & Under. Kids under 14 are welcome to enter the open paddle, they do not HAVE to enter the kids shorter paddle. This course will have safety monitors.

THE CHASE- 3 MILES
Something new… and different of course. Based on previous performances we are starting women 2:09 in front of the men. Then is is an all out paddle to the finish. FIRST 10 to cross the finsih line will when CA$H and prizes.

1/2 MILE Paddle Parade
THIS IS WHEN ALL PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS GET WET AND HAVE FUN. The Paddle Parade will be 1/2 Mile Paddle. We will probably give some awards for most creative design’s best costumes, and most FESTIVE person or group. This will be a great opportunity to get out, get wet, and have some fun! There are really no limits to this event, other than the vessel must be human powered. FUN! THIS IS FREE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS, BUT We ASK FOR A $10 DONATION FROM THOSE WHO DID NOT COMPETE IN ONE OF THE DAYS EVENTS.

– Pine Hollow Half Marathon on Sunday!

This will be a FUN weekend and you can play and paddle before and after the event.
