Ride the Willapa

Ride the Willapa brings people of all ages and abilities to the verdant Chehalis River Valley for a leisurely-paced bike ride on the Willapa Hills Trail, Washington state’s newest rails-to-trails project.
Enjoy more than 50 miles of pure countryside glory, and experience the ride at your own pace and leisure! Ride the Willapa is family-friendly and open to riders of all ages and all abilities, so you can go as far as you want or just do an out-and-back in one day.
The Tour de Farms route gives you an opportunity to not just enjoy the beauty of the trail and adjacent scenery, but also to meet our local farmers from across our area, and buy some delicious food!
Make a weekend of this excursion and enjoy overnight camping. Or finish in one day and enjoy some of the arts scene, food and more in the Chehalis and Centralia area.
You’ll want a bike with 700x28c or wider tires…basically anything with thicker tires than a road bike will do alright.
