Rolf Prima Tri at the Grove Sprint | Olympic | Tri | Du | Aquabike | Paddle Tri | Youth Tri
July 27 @ 6:30 am - 3:00 pm PDT
An event every year that begins at 6:30 am on day fourth of July, repeating until July 22, 2023
“I love the Tri at the Grove because it brings me back to the essence of triathlon and the beauty of Oregon. It’s a small, but well run event with great people having an awesome time on a Saturday morning in a beautiful spot in the Oregon wilderness. It doesn’t get any better than that!”
–Jesse Thomas – 4x Wildflower Champion
Something that always sticks in my mind is the image of first arriving in the morning, race day and looking over the Lake! Every year I have done, the lake has been calm, maybe with a little mist or low cloud hanging over it. But it is one of those views that taking a picture would not do it justice. It makes me smile and think “Wow, I get to race here!”
It is a race I keep coming back to because I love not only the location and course, but the fun, social atmosphere. From first timers to the competitive triathlete, be prepared to feel pretty special when you cross that finish line!”
–Kate Bevilaqua – 3x Ironman Champion
Age groups will be in 5 year increments as per USAT standards. Relay teams will be scored based on combined ages of team mates. More info
Check web site to review parking directions and instructions. THERE IS NO EVENT PARKING AT THE LAKESIDE PARK BOAT RAMP AREA. Event parking is very close to the boat ramp area, but access to the parking area is located off of Reservoir Road to the north of Lakeside Park.
The duathlon follows the same course as the tri, just without the run portion of the race.
The duathlon follows the same course as the tri, just without the swim portion of the race. It will start in a time trial fashion from the transition area as the first swimmers are coming out of the water.
The paddle triathlon follows the same course as the tri, just switch the swim portion of the race for a kayak or stand up paddle board. The paddle tri is a mass start.
Cottage Grove Lake Conditions
