We are excited to be partnering with Suncadia Lodge to offer a destination race on the sunny side of the Cascades. This is a great opportunity to pack up the family and enjoy a weekend getaway. While we are most excited about the gorgeous running trails, there are activities here for the whole family: swimming, hiking, biking, golfing and so much more!

About Suncadia Lodge

Suncadia is a 6,400-acre all-season resort community located in beautiful Cle Elum, Washington, only 90 minutes east of Seattle. With stunning forested mountain landscapes, Suncadia is the idyllic escape to explore the best of the Pacific Northwest. Suncadia is a true mecca for outdoor enthusiasts, boasting over 4,000 acres of conservancy and open space, which lends itself to amazing hiking, biking, golf, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fly fishing and more.

Woodland Speeders

As part of our new Woodland Speeders program, we offer free kid’s races at all of our events. Parents are welcome to run with their kids. You can register your child during the registration process for your own race or sign them up later.

Race Notes:

The Suncadia course is made up of two loops: a 5K and a 10M. The half-marathon runners will complete both loops, while the 5K runners will only run the smaller loop (duh). There will be two aid stations, one on each loop, and the course will be well marked with signs at intersections. As always, there will be a good selection of grub at the finish to fuel you up.

This is a cupless race. All runners should carry with them a refillable container that they can run with. There will be a limited number of cups for emergency situations.

The trails will be open to other users during the event, including equestrians, pedestrians and cyclists.
