The Cascade Super Series | Cascade Express Half Marathon

An event every year that begins at 6:30 am on day second of September, repeating until September 13, 2025

Join us on some of the most scenic marathon and half marathon courses in the country. This epic trail will take you on a fast and stunning journey from a start in the mountains of Snoqualmie Pass, WA down the famous Iron Horse Trail. With Boston Qualifiers becoming harder and the need for speed a requirement, this course offers a series of fast and beautiful races that will help you achieve your marathon or half marathon PR!

NEW THIS YEAR! The Double Dip! Register for the June Half and June Marathon together and receive a 10% discount plus an additional medal. Register for the September Half and September Marathon together and receive an additional 10% discount plus an additional medal. Register for all 4 races and get a 15% discount plus a special medal!

General Info: The Half Marathons of the Cascade Super Series races begin promptly at 8AM at the Hyak Lot at Snoqualmie Pass, and the finish line will be at Garcia trailhead for the half marathon. Runners will be shuttled from Garcia back to the parking area when they are finished. Please take a look at the race day schedule to ensure a smooth start. The half marathon course will be open for 4 hours and will not have an early start option.

Packet Pick-up: Packet pickup will be available at our sponsor the Balanced Athlete in Renton, WA the Friday before the race as well as race morning at the start area.

Parking:
The race will have parking near the start line. Since this is a point to point course we will provide shuttle buses from the finish to the parking area. Runner parking will be at two lots at the Summit East Ski Area. The closest lot will be used first and overflow parking will go to the second lot. It is about a 0.75 mile walk to the start line area from both lots.

Directions to parking area are:
From I-90 West: Take exit 54 toward Gold Cr./Hyak, Turn right onto Washington 906 then continue straight onto Hyak Drive East. Follow signs for designated parking.
From I-90 East: Take exit 54 toward Hyak Gold Cr, Turn left onto Washington 906 then continue straight onto Hyak Drive East. Follow signs for designated parking.
From Summit Inn (Host Hotel): Head south on Washington 906 for 1.8 miles, then turn right onto Hyak Drive East. Follow signs for designated parking.

Race Day Schedule for the marathon
6:30 AM – Runner parking opens at Summit East Ski Area
6:45-7:45 AM – Runner check-in
8:00 AM – Race start
9:00 AM – Finish line opens
9:30 AM – 12:30 PM – Buses Continuously shuttle runners back to the parking area from Garcia (buses will run every 30 – 45 minutes).
12:00 PM – Official timing concludes
