Tiger Peak Challenge Half-Marathon | Marathon | 50k

An event every year that begins at 6:00 am on day first of August, repeating until August 5, 2023

Located near Issaquah, Tiger Mountain State Forest is a 13,745-acre working forest that includes the West Tiger Mountain Natural Resources Conservation Area. Tiger Mountain offers many recreational opportunities including hiking, mountain biking, equestrian trails, hang gliding, paragliding, and of course some of the best trail running in the area.

The Tiger Peak Challenge will hit two of Tiger’s three peaks and features a new course for 2019.

Unlike our other events, we will only be offering three challenging distances and have a limited number of spots available. This event will sell out!

This event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field.

This is a cupless race. All runners should carry with them a refillable container that they can run with. There will be a limited number of cups for emergency situations.

Elevation gain:
Half: 4200′
Full: 8400′
50K: 9300′

The trails will be open to other users during the event, hikers and, on the first small lollipop loop, equestrians as well. Please be courteous, you will likely not encounter more than a few. Where the trails are narrow, please let other participants pass you if they want to get by. It is a passing runner’s job to tell the person in front that they wish to pass.

Start, finish, and parking will be at the High Point Way trailhead, located at 26415 SE 79th St, Issaquah, WA 98027.

From I-90, take exit 20 (High Point Way exit)
Immediately take your first right
Parking lot is at the end of the road.
Please note that you will need a Discover Pass to park.
