Tour de Whidbey 162 | 100 | 67 | 33 | 10
August 17, 2019 @ 7:00 am - 5:00 pm PDT
An event every year that begins at 7:00 am on day third of August, repeating until August 19, 2023
The Tour de Whidbey is known as one of the most beautiful bicycle rides around. Travel the island’s back roads and enjoy breathtaking scenery, glimpses of abundant wildlife and varied terrain.
Riders have several routes and directions north or south to choose from, each with a hospitality break-station every 10-15 miles:
–Whidbey Power-162 mile route around the perimeter of Whidbey Island.
–Whidbey Century-100 mile route through North and South Whidbey.
–Metric Century Plus-67 mile route through South Whidbey.
–Half Metric Century-33 mile North Whidbey routes provide the same gorgeous scenery.
–A family-friendly 10 mile route winds through the areas in and around Coupeville.
The Tour de Whidbey is not a race. Riders start and finish at their own pace. All roads are open to normal traffic.
Riders are asked to be courteous to local drivers and obey the rules of the road.
Participants are asked to ride in single file.
We recommend that each rider bring a cell phone for emergencies, a repair kit, and some warm, waterproof layers in case of inclement weather.
