An event every year that begins at 7:30 am on day first of April, repeating until April 2, 2022
Timing: We will be chip timing both races. Only pre-registered runners will be timed. There will be large clocks at each finish line so you can see your time as you finish.
Changing race distances: If you need to change race distances, please do so at Skagit Running Company as soon as possible (or email the race director before race day). If you want to change distance on the day of the race, please go to the solutions desk before 9 am. We will NOT change your bib or chip, but we will need to change your race distance in the computer.
Awards: Awards will be given in both races to the top 3 overall (male and female) as well as the top 3 Masters (male and female). Top 3 in each age division (male and female) will receive a Tulip Run medal. THERE WILL BE NO MAILING OF SHIRTS OR AWARDS. THEY MAY BE PICKED UP AT SKAGIT RUNNING COMPANY (724 S 1st St, Mount Vernon) UP TO 1 MONTH AFTER THE RACE. NO DAY OF RACE ENTRANTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS.

The Tulip Run is a flat and fast rural course at the Skagit Regional Airport. The start and finish lines for the race is located at Van Zyverden Bulb, 12035 Higgens Aiport Way. The 5 mile and 2 mile courses consist of mostly hard packed gravel trails with a small portion being on the road. The course will be clearly marked and monitors will be at all intersections. Due to the course restrictions, participants must finish within 2 hours. The weather on race day is typically nice and cool. Please dress appropriately.
One aid station will be located at approximately 2.5 miles on the 5 mile course. At the aid station, water and a sports drink will be provided. Restrooms will be located at the start/finish area.
Skagit Regional Airport in Burlington, WA
Take exit 230 from I-5 north or south. Drive west on State Route 20 to the Port of Skagit sign and take a right onto Higgins Airport Way. Registration is located at Van Zyverden Bulb at 12035 Higgins Airport Way. Arrive early to find parking.
