Wednesday Night Mountain Biking, aka “Wednesday Night Worlds,” is a short-track style cross country mountain bike race series in Seattle.

These are cross-country mountain bike races located within a public park. Our courses are a mix of single track, grass, dirt and paved roads. Courses change weekly and are approx. 3-3.5 miles in length. Riders of all abilities are welcome. Race distances range from 1 to 4 laps. An average adult lap time is about 18 min.

All racers need a $5 timing chip. This is a one time cost, you own it. Most of you probably have one already if you race bikes around here.

Starts

We are using interval starts in 2022. Start times are approximate. We send 6 riders at a time in approx. 15sec intervals. Riders will pass through the finish line to begin and end their race. Kids races start at the finish line arch. Adult and Junior starts use the pavement or grass field depending on course direction.
