A Ride Like No Other! Each year on the first Sunday in August, cyclists have the extraordinary opportunity to ride the iconic Hurricane Ridge road when it is closed to all motor vehicles.
Produced by Peninsula Adventure Sports, Frosty Moss Relay runners trace the Olympic Discovery Trail (paved multiuse path) and Adventure Route (singletrack trail) from west to east, beginning at the Camp Creek Trailhead along the Sol Duc River and finishing in Blyn at the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe facilities.
The North Olympic Discovery Marathon, Marathon Walk, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon and 10K take place on a unique point to point course that incorporates the beautiful Olympic Discovery Trail with stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and a five mile finishing stretch along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
