Chirico Tenpeat
April 26, 2028 @ 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Meet other members of the Seattle-area running community at this low-key event: Do up to 10 repeats of the Chirico Trail on Tiger Mountain!
This is a low-key training day for all. Come do 1 repeat, 2 repeats…as many as you want up to 10 repeats (which ends up being a 55k with almost 17k climbing) on the Chirico Trail on Tiger Mountain.
There is one aid station at the bottom and we will have water and potluck-style food and drinks. Bring something to share. Or not! You don’t need to. Just come and do a repeat or two and socialize.
It’s a great day to meet people and train for spring and summer events.
Each out-n-back is about 3.6 miles with ~1,660 feet of climbing. Aid station will be by the trailhead or you can use your own car. A Tiger hat will be given to the first male and female to finish the 10-peat starting at 7am.
To βwinβ the Tiger hat tho, you must start at 7am. (First male and female to complete the 10-peat win a Tiger hat that MUST be returned the following year)
There is also a 12-hour endurance challenge where participants do as many repeats as they can in a 12-hour period.
No cost, no aid (well, sort of), no frills. Just you and the mountain π
Directions to parking lot / trailhead: take Front St exit (exit 17) off I90 and drive about 3 miles on Front Street (turns into Issaquah Hobart Rd) and parking lot (and a big field) will be on your left.
If the lot is full, park at Squak Valley Park Fields and walk the short distance to Chirico Trailhead.
