Classic cap for the Bianchi, Italian professional cycling team that was sponsored by Bianchi Bicycles. The first Bianchi cycling team existed in 1899; Bianchi sponsored professional cycling at a very early stage of the sport. The team has had multiple iterations–from 1899 to 1900, 1905 to 1966, 1973 to 1984, 1993, and 2003. “Piaggio” was a Bianchi bike model in the 1980s.
