Bighorn Gravel

June 28, 2026 - June 29, 2026

Bighorn Gravel is a unique gravel cycling adventure in the heart of the Rockies with four distance options, starting and ending in the rugged western town of Gypsum, Colorado.

Bighorn Gravel features terrain and views that only Colorado High Country can offer, the course will challenge your fitness and skills as you climb through the thin air of the Rockies.

The 85-mile Ram’s Horn Escape is a full serving of alpine gravel, featuring over 10,500 ft of climbing. Sprinkle in some single track, a hike-a-bike or two, rowdy descents that will have you begging for mercy, and some of the most fantastic scenery you can dream up, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a great day on the bike.

The 50-mile Little Bighorn is no gimme, packing 6,500 ft. of climbing into a relentless course. Same views, same wild singletrack, and the same spirit of the West found in the long course, in a more manageable serving.

Curious about testing your mettle, but not sure if a big gravel event is up your alley? The 20-mile Gravel Curious option is the best way to get your feet wet, featuring just enough gravel to entice you back for more. E-bikes are welcome, and the course is non-competitive.

The expo will include a family friendly build up to the next day’s events, complete with live music, food trucks, beer, kids balance bike races and much more.
