Olympic Gravel Circumnavigation
June 29, 2025 - July 6, 2025
Formerly know as GCOR, the Olympic Gravel Circumnavigation is a 440 mile bikepacking tour through one of the most scenic and mysterious regions of Washington St. It is a challenging journey, both because of the nonstop climbing and the remoteness of the Olympic Peninsula. There is absolutely no support for this event.
Read Northwest in Motion’s bikepacking coverage, including gear recommendations from the area’s top women and men bikepackers.
There are three routes:

Riding around a whole mountain range is not a casual endeavor. It’s 400+ miles of every kind of surface you’d imagine. At the same time, its not quite as epic as riding across an entire continent or state mostly because the logistics are much better with a loop. A recreational rider should be able to complete Olympic GC in less than a week. Although, slowing down and taking your time is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the incredible geography that is the Olympic Mountains. Fast or slow, Olympic GC promises to turn you on to what makes the PNW so effin cool!
The route has been crafted, tooled and retooled to maximize stoke and flow, minimize pavement and pushing, and show off the wonderful gravel roads and trails that skirt our Olympic Mountains.
