Ride Newport Oregon

Join Ride the Dirt Wave for a weekend of mountain biking around Newport, OR. Newport is fortunate to have two great trail systems to explore with plenty of options for beginner to advanced riders, and a family ride. This is a great opportunity to come out and get to know the trails in a fun and supportive environment.

The celebration of the trails includes food, music & beverages on site. Food cart and locally brewed beer will be available for purchase.

Day One @ Wilder Trails

The Wilder trail network was constructed and is maintained through the joint efforts of the local bike club, NEWTS and the landholders. The system remains an ongoing project, steadily improving with each passing year. These trails present a classic coastal-style riding experience, featuring an abundance of roots and natural attributes that provide an enjoyable and challenging ride. Wilder boasts an XC flavor, owing to the technical aspects of the riding and the presence of various interconnected trail sections connected by forest roads.

Day Two @ Big Creek Trails

The Big Creek Trails are the newest trails in Newport. They are a joint effort between the local bike club, NEWTS, and the City of Newport. The trails are located on City land and the bike club has built and maintains the trails. It is a small system but perfect for the Flow Duro Challenge!
