The Vineyard Tour

The Vineyard Tour is an event that has evolved over the years dating back to the mid-1980’s. The event is now a part of a weekend-long celebration of cycling hosted by the Umpqua Velo Club. The UVC was established in 1978.
Riders can roll out at 8am from the Discovery Garden, located just northwest of Roseburg. Participants will have their choice of routes from 15 to 100 miles in length. The routes are scenic and use roads with little traffic. Several rest stops are hosted by local vineyards.
While the Vineyard Tour is the signature event of the weekend, Saturday will offer other rides, hosted by the UVC. These rides will include road, gravel, and mountain biking. Monday morning, there will be a coffee ride to round out a great weekend of cycling. There will also be social events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday hosted by local wineries and breweries. Join us for a wonderful weekend of cycling and making new friends.
