Outdated Race Update

Just a few pics from over a week ago:

Robin Secrist (First Rate Mortgage), is the current leader of the Luna cat 4 women’s race series. I just checked the standings and Robin currently has 370 points while her nearest rival, Heidi Copes van Hasselt (Wines of Washington), has 118 points. Robin won the women’s cat 4 Mason Lake #2 race on March 9, and has generally dominated at every race so far this season.

Meanwhile in Oregon, 16-year-old Jacob Rathe (racing with the Pro 1/2s!) continues to impress at the Banana Belt series at Hagg Lake southwest of Portland. Jason won his race on March 9, and finished 3rd on March 16.

The big news from Oregon is that Kenji Sugahara has been named the new executive director of OBRA, taking over from long-time queen of all things bike racing in OR, Candi Murray.
