VAIL, Colorado — In anticipation of the upcoming inaugural installment of the Colorado Stage International Cycle Classic, the Vail Valley Foundation has launched a blog to tell the world about the event, its brief history and bringing professional cycling back to Colorado.
The “Building The Stage” blog will candidly outline the trials and tribulations involved with bringing a first-year event of this magnitude to life. Leading into the launch of the official event website it will also serve as the primary communication engine prior to site launch. The new website is slated to launch in early June.
“As we dig deep to finalize every detail of this event we are learning a lot about the road cycling industry and the participating communities,” said Shelley Woodworth, Director of Marketing at the Vail Valley Foundation. “The lessons we’ve learned and the progress we are making is great for our blog and cycling enthusiasts. We have lots of bike experience with the 1994 and 2001 World Mountain Bike Championships; however, road cycling is something completely new for us.”
The Colorado Stage International Cycle Classic is a project of the Vail Valley Foundation. For further information on the Colorado Stage International Cycle Classic:
