About Bike Works
Bike Works has been working for kids, bikes, and community in the Rainier Valley since 1996. Our programs invest in young people and encourage bicycling as a clean and healthy transportation alternative. Their mission:
To build sustainable communities by educating youth and promoting bicycling. We teach young people how to fix bikes, reward them with their own set of wheels, and provide affordable bicycle services to the community.
As many of you know, Meet the Teams season is winding down here in Seattle. For speedy, competitive types a racing-focused team is one outlet, but many of us are also inspired to channel our cycling energy in philanthropic directions.
All Seattle cyclists are invited to join members of the Seattle bike racing community on Thanksgiving morning at 9:15 for a ride to benefit Northwest Harvest.
