Instead of going skiing in the Cascades today I listened to the rain drip outside and put together a video of our trip to Snowbird the week of February 9:

I was on a 9:05 chair out of the base area, but due to high winds and horizontal blowing snow, most of the mountain was closed until almost noon. When the wind let up and more chairs opened, the hordes migrated to the grand opening of the new Northway chair. I headed in the opposite direction.
The immediate objective for Sunday's skiing adventure was to do a little "cross-training" with Redmond Cycling Club president Shane Balkovetz, who was joined by his wife and some extended family members.
