Conditions at MFG Cyclocross‘ 2010 finale at Woodland Park last Sunday were “perfect:” wet, muddy, goopy, and slippery. It was a proper bookend to the season, which started out with a month of wet racing.


In addition to the athletic and social benefits of cyclocross, it’s a great way to boost your microbiome! Eating dirt is good for your gut! While road cyclists eat and breathe toxic particles, cyclocross aficionados eat and breathe (mostly) organic dirt populated with a diversity of bacteria.

The Seattle-area season ends this weekend with Cross Revolution‘s final event scheduled for Ft. Steilacoom Park has been moved to North SeaTac Park.
The 2019 US National Cyclocross Championships will be held at Ft. Steilacoom Park, December 5-10. Check out the championship schedule.
