It’s disappointing to many of us that this is receiving so little attention: Seattle Bike Blogis reporting that Fred Rehberger, a racer and mechanic at Northwest Tri and Bike in Kent died yesterday of injuries sustained when he was hit by an automobile on February 29. He was taken to Harborview in critical condition and was taken off life support on March 9. Details about the accident itself are not clear.
Seattle International Randonneur president Mark Thomas emailed me to say that Fred worked at Sammamish Valley Cycle when he owned it and that Fred was a nice guy.
