Upcoming: 7th Annual Thanksgiving Day Ride

Please join the Seattle area cycling community for the 7th annual Seattle Thanksgiving Day Ride to benefit Northwest Harvest.

Mick Walsh encourages everyone to join the ride: “Let’s be thankful that we are fortunate enough to have the time and money to enjoy a great activity like cycling and give to those less fortunate who are more concerned about where their next meal is coming from, rather than what carbon wheels they are going to ride next year.”

Riders cruise Lake Washington Blvd Thanksgiving morning in 2008.

Where:
Leschi Starbucks
The ride rolls south along Lake WA Blvd, south of the Renton Airport, then north along the east side of Lake Washington and back to Leschi via Mercer Island. Some folks do optional extra miles around the south end of Mercer Island. Total mileage is about 25-35 depending on which version you do.

When:
Thursday November 25, 9 AM

The suggested donation is $5 per rider, but whatever you can give would be a great help. In past years the cycling community has contributed $800-$1,500 to Northwest Harvest.
