Upcoming: Lance Armstrong Junior Road Series

If you are a parent of a junior cyclist (or want to encourage the juniors), now is the time to get hooked in to the 2010 Seattle Lance Armstrong Junior Road Series (LAJRS), which kicks off at the Fremont Criterium (and the second race in the Cascadia Criterium Series) on May 30. The LAJRS series is designed specifically for junior bicycle racers and competitors who want to try racing with their peers.

The Cascadia Crit Series will be great for spectators as well as racers.

The series is open to juniors 10-18, and is broken down into age categories:
A (17-18)
B (15-16)
C (13-14)
D (10-12)

Boys and girls are scored separately.

The Seattle-LAJRS Series is a 5 race points series. There are no additional charges to participate in the series. Anyone registered as a junior in a series race will automatically be included in the series and awarded points.

A 1-day or annual USA Cycling license (with parent’s signature) is required for participation.

Prizes & medals will be awarded for each race. An overall Seattle LAJRS Series champion jersey & medal will be awarded to the winner in each category along with bragging rights, of course.

Pre-register, and series numbers, the race day waiver & a shwag bag will be ready for you at Fremont registration. Participants also get t-shirts & a water bottle.

Online registration closes 5/28 at 11:59pm
